The 2025 annual conference was a great opportunity to meet other TFM members and learn about what is happening around the state and around the country regarding tobacco and nicotine trends.

The 2025 Annual Conference included four presentations featuring and exciting lineup of speakers and topics including:
Advocating with Story: Making it Count will share her experience building a strong group of communities and helping them share their story to implement real changes.
Tobacco Trends: Dr. Tayler, Assistant Professor at the MSU-Hurley Pediatric Public Health Initiative in the Charles Stewart Mott Department of Public Health and American Academy of Pediatrics Michigan chapter's E-Cigarette Champion and Advocacy Day chair, discussed the latest trends in tobacco usage.
Implementing Local Policy: Molly Medenblik from the American Cancer Society - Cancer Action Network provided a policy update and share tips to get local policies passed.
Cessation and Prevention Panel: A panel discussion looked at the pros and cons of different prevention and cessation services offered across the state.
